I still place her in between stocks, but it's not reliable enough to plan an attack around it like I could do before. I've had plenty of opponents intend to jump over or beside Lily and become wrapped, but Lily just doesn't seem to last long enough for it to be worth me feeding her often enough. It opened up avenues of approach for Maypuls that took the opportunities in the match to feed Lily, and gave her a finishing option that now seems more luck based than skill based. Even though I believe it was an overall buff, I'd rather have the permanent plant that you have to be knocked into. The non-permanent plant changes seem to encourage camping. But in contrast to her rush-down style, Maypul is punished very harshly when an opponent successfully dodges a grounded attack. Whiff lag made quality over quantity in hitboxes a must for a successful strategy, which I think is a very healthy thing overall.
